The crew over at COPCS are again raising funds for the organization this year by selling poinsettias and wreaths for Christmas. We bought a bunch last year, they are really beautiful. For more information please see the attached poster.

Margaret and the crew over at COPCS have done it again. This time it’s a workshop on addictions and adults who have a developmental disability. Please see and attached poster for all the details. Free to COPCS members and only $10 for interested others.

We had our first open house celebrating Community Living Month in Kelowna yesterday, thanks to Joanne and Jeanette for setting out goodies and getting us ready. Vern talked a little bit about the Mandt system with everyone and Vivienne (pictured) did a great job with laying out what our health and safety program looks like at Community Connections. A great time was had by all and we are doing this again in Castlegar, Nelson, Creston and Cranbrook;, come out and join us, we’d love to see you there!

For Kelowna folk, we’re having an open house on October 9; For Kootenay folk, we’re hoping to see you during the week of October 20- 23.We are hosting some networking and support events in the West and East Kootenays that will include an introduction to Mandt non-violent crisis intervention training (thanks Vern R) and information about the healthy and safety program at Community Connections Support Services (thanks Viv P).
It will be a great opportunity to connect with everyone for support, networking and to celebrate what we do, for all the information on dates, etc., please check out the poster. See you soon!
